We do have a lot of routes in and around london, but theres a few trains we could have in game to improve our experience, Class 171 The class 171 is a 2 car dmu, operated by southern for services between brighton and eastbourne, it would also layer onto london commuter for london bridge and A.I services It has a top speed of 100mph, and it would add more of a variety in trains on both routes. Class 455 The class 455, is a 4 car emu operated by southern and southwestern railway, it would be available to drive on both london commuter and southern for similar services to the class 377, it has a top speed of 75 mph and would create even more diversity to already diverse routes. These 2 units would improve the routes they are in a lot, and are unique compared to the trains already on the routes, this dlc would be priced at £11:99.
A serious problem with the 171, those services to Brighton no longer exist, the 171s now ONLY run between Eastborune and Ashford Intl the only way which would make the 171s work if the timetable was changed to fit services PRE-2016 so about 2014-2015 and MAYBE some parts of 2016
I think that only the Class 171 will fit on ECW because the 455 is usually used for Metro Services but isn't going further than Horsham.
I know this thread is old, but if you are still interested I've done the 171: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/made-the-southern-class-171-turbostar.53685/
what do you mean by a new time line with the 313? and if so do you think there is a possibility of the 171 being added with that? thanks
I meant to say timetable The class 313 came with a new timetable, this would include a timetable on both london commuter and ecw which would be called (route name) 171 and 455
My biggest wish would to have Keymer Junction to Lewes added to BML, that’s my local line and it would also make a decent service terminating place for freights and Passenger services.
Any more branches to the BML would improve the game play. The Reigate branch adds a tiny element of sparkle to the game.
I think for a 2 loco pack it would be better to negotiate the price more around £18 as £12 for 2 isn’t likely to happen if one would usually cost that on its own
Each of the locos would be worth the usual pricing of 20 euros each. I support the suggestions as a chance to get the rolling stock, not to get a discount pack for 2 trains.
NTP Heavy freight pack to my knowledge is 2 (Class 40 and 08) the 08 is also extremely similar to the west Somerset one released before that dlc, also in the same sense the Dresden Riesa Route has around 6 ish but all were released before hand except for changes mostly to the 442
I have no insider info, but I'm expecting the next rolling stock for BML to be a Class 700. Hopefully after that we can have an electric route on the north side of the Thames to places that aren't Chatham or Brighton.
