Since moving Steam and game files across to my new SSD, I seem to have an issue with TS22 and game resolution/screen size. The picture is very blurry and won't let me resize the game to match my screen size. I followed the Steam guide on how to move install data and game files across to the new SSD and have verified all files. Am I going to need a completely new install of Steam and the game and manually transfer all my 3rd party add-ons across again? The steam interface is fine with resolution etc, it's just TS22 that has the issue once loaded.
The screen resolution in the game is unrelated to what drive your files are on. Check the Settings in the Game and make sure your Resolution is the max for your Monitor - this is what I have mine on
Well, my monitor is capable of 3840x2160 as it's a 4K tv. When I was in the settings screen (as you showed above), the max resolution it gave was 720xXXX. Anyway, I solved it by uninstalling Steam from all drives and doing a fresh install on my E: drive.
I’m having a similar issue, with screen resolution. I’m unable to play scenarios in certain routes because the scenario load screens freezes then doesn’t respond. I’m able to load most routes in editor though? Any ideas? Thanks
That’s were problem is, it’s the same if load from editor or main ts screen 32bjt and 64bit. I tried a couple of things today: Block it from firewall, block on antivirus don’t know how to do that, reset scenario database. It seems to be ok now, will try other scenarios tomorrow and let you know here. Thanks
You don't need to block the game from a Firewall It is not multiplayer and you do not need to be online apart from logging in to Steam. Are the scenarios you cannot play default ones or some you got from elsewhere?
ah ok, I can play in steam offline mode until a update is available. A simmer said their ts runs better when blocked in firewall/virus software. It varies a lot, 1 example was 2R14 on workshop.
I think the workshop files might be your problem The quality between different scenarios is quite wide and some run perfectly whilst other cause problems. If a Workshop Scenario does not work then Delete it by Unsubscribing from it first then Delete it in the game. It sounds like the problem you are having is caused by the Workshop Scenario(s) There is no real need to run the game off line - there won't be any update coming to solve the problem
