    Hello all!
Anna_AWVR here with a reskin upload for Train Sim World!
This is my UTLX reskin of the CSX DOT117 30,000 Gallon Tank Car.

This replaces the one found in Heavy Haul as well as the one used in NEC: New York.

Installation instructions are included in the readme in the zip file.

    RWA Link: Pending
    Mirror Link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/2e828oitb6vb0d6/UTLXTankCarTSW_Masterkey.zip/file

Here's some screenshots of what it looks like (forgot how to add them to an RWA upload).

(I have a few other projects in the works I'll be showing off in another thread for all my current and future projects)

When installed, does this repaint replace the standard tank car? If not, how can it be used without an editor? Thanks.

Yes It replaces the tank car. There is only one US tank car in TSW but there's two versions of it. One for NEC, one for CSX Heavy Haul. This replaces both.

A one-for-two swap doesn't make much sense to me.

Then don't use it. It's not mandatory.

Thanks for this, it's good to see a non-destructive install / uninstall technique with these .pak file mods ... As you may or may not be aware over on the train sim dot de (?) website they have some rather good, on point loco & cab car repaints using the same .pak file mod system ... Only thing being, as with the tank car here that ALL instances of the original skin will be replaced in game until the .pak file is deleted from the directory ... It's a good system for swapping in & out reskins when required mind you :) The German repaints are very good, but I wouldn't want to replace all stock on route in one hit, what's needed is the ability to create cloned or new instances of stock, perhaps the GWE class 66 is a good place to spy to find out the mechanics as DTG kindly gave us that EWS reskin, which presumably created a standalone loco asset ;)

Looks great and easy installation! This opens perspectives for my toolkit TSWTools to support this type of mods.
