Well I wanted to buy another DLC from Switzerland or Germany but I don't know which one. Which ones would you recommend? I'm looking forward to seeing all of your opinions!
Rhur Sieg Nord & Main Spessart Bahn are top notch. TBF nearly all German content is a higher standard than UK or USA content. Even Hamburg Lubeck which is considered the weakest by many (not personally - I really enjoy it) is at a better standard then some none German DLC.
Riesa-Dresden since due to it being a rush hour route which will cause you to fall off schedule. Example is the 20:22 RE50 Dresden-Riesa-Lepizig Service getting ahead of the 20:25 ICE Dresden to Wiesbaden Hbf via Frankfurt Flughafen Riesa Leipzig Gerstungen Bebra. At the Weissig Bohla fast line junction & Chemical Plant
The Chemnitz route probably my number one followed by MSB and RSN. The Ruhr commuter routes are nicely done but a bit samey. Koln to Aachen okay for a quick blast as is Munich to Augsberg. Tried Rapid Transit but refunded due to the ultra quiet train, route itself seemed okay though a bit straight and flat, not much challenge. Haven’t bought the Lubeck route as, 1. It should have gone to Puttgarden and, 2. Setting in modern day with electrics and Dostos not how I remember it, should have done it as diesel era. Edit: Oh and personally I think Dresden to Riesa a tad overrated, though to be fair while it suffers from the save game bug I’ve been largely avoiding it.
My picks would be: MSB, it's adds layers to almost every German route and with out it you won't get frieght or seem regional services on most routes, it's also a good route. Nahverker Dresdan is very good it has almost every service included in the base route except for the 101 services, the route and trains are high quality and all around its a good route. Dresden Chemnitz is fun to drive with beautiful scenery and winding tracks where you can make good use of the 612, also similar to Naverker Dresden it comes with almost all services with the base route. The only German route I wouldn't recommend is HMA, because the route is extremely empty even with the most services untill Dresden, it felt like 60% of the services were s bahn and another 15% were freight, which made all passenger stations feel abandoned especially Munich which rarely had more that 3 trains in it (which is very few for one of the busiest stations in Germany).
I meant that it had the most services in the game untill Navakher Dresden came which had more services.
