The line between Westbury and Weymouth is exactly 59 miles long, and is currently served by a mix of Turbo's and Sprinters, but this route would be set between 2002 and 2005, when the line was served by Wessex Trains. I believe this will be a popular choice with TrainSim-Matt as during this period the line was served by Pink Class 31's, 150's and 153's. Proposed Rolling Stock Class 31 in Wessex Trains & InterCity Swallow livery Whilst it's only going to run 4 or 5 trains a day along this route, the Class 31 with Sealed Beam and the Mk2D's would be welcome in the Livery Designer world. Class 150/2 in Wessex Trains livery Operated the majority of services along the line, more often than not with a 153 tagging along behind. Class 153 in Wessex Trains livery Worked in tandem with the Class 150/2's. 153302 also had a one off livery applied as shown below. Again, I would like this suggestion to become reality because pink train
Yeah that would be a nice route as we don't have any routes in the early privatisation days and it was a key time for the modern day railway network we know today.
Excellent Idea and for the Class 150/2 it can be made as a reskin of the West Cornwall version into Wessex Trains and the new build is a Class 153.
