The 2 GE U30B's pulling a large consist of boxcars depart from James after waiting for a train to pass to continue their journey from Oroville to Keddie on the Feather River Canyon route.
As close to 1975 as research will allow. Where I cannot find track plans and or photos a little licence will be used and some buildings will be representative due to the limitations as to what is available - I have no 3D modelling skills - but where there was a chemical plant there will be. Sidings and yards will be based on fact. Don’t hold your breath as I do have other things to do.
Captures from an ironstone run on Steam Sounds Supreme's Stainmore, Shap & Eden Valley route. It's one of six Standard Scenarios created by BLS for Caledonia Works' GNR K1-class steam locomotive:
A trio of BNSF GE ES44DC's run as lead power on a CSX coal consist on the Norfolk Southern Coal District.
Mortu5 I like your shots more and more. I clearly have a soft spot for lush nature, but regardless. Did you also upgrade your graphics? Your journey is a great example of practice makes perfect.
A Greater Anglia Class 360 takes a passenger service from Ipswich to London Liverpool Street on the Great Eastern Main Line London-Ipswich route.
Hi triznya.andras, thanks and I appreciate that you like my screenshots. My game is all standard Steam install, no upgrades or enhancements & no third party assets. Because I do workshop items for mainly North American routes, sometime ago I removed all reskin engines and non-steam extras. I have been playing since TS2016 and while I have over the years really enjoyed the third party re-skins etc., from some really talented folks with this game, I decided to get back to just a stock game install. This makes things easier for when I do workshop items. I would like to say also, regarding your comment, there are many great shots on this site (yours included ). I find it really enjoyable to see what other players are doing in game, what's their focus or preference. It's great to see.
ÖBB Class 1116 with mixed freight on the Semmeringbahn. I don't have anything but North American DLC installed normally (save for South African content at times), but I installed this for this weeks Screenshot competition. It's been a long time since I ran any European route, but this has been rather enjoyable.
A Freightliner Class 66 pulls a heavy consist of intermodal freight from Felixstowe to Stratford during a storm on the Great Eastern Main Line London-Ipswich route.
Bit of a retro set this week. Two random historical while the CF is from a lovely run this week (until the water problem, that is) and the Class 67 is my next, ongoing experience. Quite nice actually as it connects a lot of the content puzzle together. 1) A MoW Class 33 parks its empties at Polmont in the afternoon, will pick up the TEAs afterwards 2) A bloody nose C44-9W climbs the western slope of Donner with a mixed freight 3) A Baldwin-built Cab Forward (trio) continues from Emigrant Gap eastbound with the second part of a Pacific Fruit Express 4) An EWS Class 67 taking a Rail Express Systems mail train parks at Reading momentarily to allow the replacement crew onboard Fun fact: I always thought this RES scheme is semi-branded, but I just found a photo like this (with 67034). 5) Rebranded to DB Schenker, this Class 67 starts with a short military shipment from Didcot Yard towards Reading
Having shown the (Caledonia Works) GNR K1 in harsh weather (snow), I reckon I ought to let it be seen in more complimentary lighting. Here it is, still in Wartime Gray, coupled to one of CW's preconfigured QD freight consists (NER Coach Pack) at Penrith Yard, (Stainmore, Shap & Eden Valley):
Maria Pass, 3 SD75 of BNSF with a coal train on the way from Shelby to Cut Banks towards White Fish......
Three captures from a Quick Drive freight run from Pope Street Works to Lenton Docks on Lenton-on-Sea Steam Workshop route. The loco is a Caledonia Works LB&SCR D1, pulling a pre-configured freight consist courtesy of CW's LBSCR Wagon Pack 1:
A couple of captures, once again on the (SSS) Stainmore, Shap & Eden Valley Penrith to Barnard Castle QD. And once again, the loco is an NER-LNER J27. What has changed is the weather (clear sky), time of day (midday) and carriages/coaches (AP Mk1s). I've driven this QD quite a lot lately (but not yet to completion) as it is scenically pleasing while affording me lots of much-needed small/brake ejector "J-key" practice, which the NER-LNER J26/J27, unlike most other Caledonia Works locos, requires when used for passenger hauls: There's not much to this capture, one of the carriage views provided by this particular MK1 consist:
Leaving Dresden with CD EuroCity. This Skoda 109E is hard well coded, thus very cool to start up and drive properly.
Four of Rock Island's eleven F2As head a lashup east from Peoria to Blue Island passing the West end of Ottawa yard on my WIP RI route. The locos are a repaint by Buzz456 of the DTM F3A soon to be in the RWA library. Rock Island didn't have F3As they had FTs, F2As and then jumped to F7s. Only 74 F2As were built (60 USA, 14 Mexico) in 1946 with 1350hp engines. The picture is set in the mid 60s and by this time the F2As were long in the tooth but Rock Island was always short of road power.
Clear semaphore for this steel bars train carried by a DB BR 185.1, spotted at the Opel factory freight yard.
Captures from the "Down Stopper" standard scenario provided with (Golden Age Developments) West of England Mainline route. The three-carriage train is pulled by a (Caledonia Works) LSWR T9, seen in BR Lined Black livery. I installed the route earlier today. This was my maiden voyage on it. As can be seen, it's scenically impressive. The scenario is enjoyable, with ample running time (a little over an hour) and some hair-raising station-stops on down-slopes (assuming you want to maintain a decent speed). Waiting on the approaching train at stop one. As it turns out, this is the only scenario goal that is timetabled:
Just gonna mention i made an TSC screenshot thread https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/train-simulator-classic.54132/since its no longer TS2022
I have a new thread here with full title. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/train-simulator-classic-screenshots.54151/
