ICE 1 - note the pink stripe on the original livery ...and the original seats in first class DBs locos in those days used a pinkish red called Orient red, as seen here on a 103 (it's also the red used on the original ICE stripe) The Intercity coaches also used this colour, with a pastel pink stripe that I always liked Pink was also used on the seats of Intercity and Interregio coaches Not only that, but BR Intercity, in the IC Swallow era also had pink seats in first class, in Mk3s and Mk2s (but I can't find a picture) As did the Swiss in their Eurocity first class (in the grey livery era) Including the panorama coach ...and you could also see this on the restaurant car
This belongs to Luzern Sursee route Re460 locomotive because if you were to look at a Swiss timetable you would see them terminate at Basel & Geneva from Sursee
yes, they'd be excellent for that route and would appear between Duisburg and Bochum, and as AI at Munich and Cologne
Well go back to the days of the UIC side corridor stock and those hard 2nd class plastic seats were a shade of coral pink, same as in the Silberlinge stock.
Can't think of a time we've had pink livery or decor on CTA trains, but one branch of the CTA's Blue Line was converted into the separate Pink Line in 2006.
Love this thread There are lots of pink trains out there if you go looking! Chicago Pink Line did have a pink train for a while at least I'll stop
