Hello, As i have Recently been to London and thought that Dovetail could Add more Units to the Route so i Suggest that the Class 455/8 Be added to the sim. These Units were Built in the Early '80s and there are No set retirement for the Southern Units so we can see these units working for at least another Decade. As we are Lacking 'New Types' of British Trains, Especially 3rd Rail Units. The Units have the same TSO Carriages as the PEP's (Class 313/314/315/507 & 508) so Less Time would be Spent on Designing a TSO car from Scratch. The 455 is a Unique Unit and is Loved by Drivers & Trainspotters alike so would be a Fantastic Addition to TSW. Class 455 Specifications Built: 1982-1985 Manufacturer: British Rail Engineering Limited (BREL) Operators: Southern & South Western Railway Power/Traction: 750 V DC 3rd Rail Depots: Stewart Lane (London/Southern)
The BML is set before that and these would be more convincing running the local trains than the 377’s. If we can’t have an EPB or a VEP in the game, these would be the next best thing.
I love this train, but I like the South West Trains/ South Western Railway version and livery much better
If they build the 455 then it could be used for both. Currently we have neither. @OP Agree this could be built and could then be used on BML, any route out of Waterloo and the south London line into London Bridge if they ever decided to do it
I would very much love to have this train in TSW as not only do I love BREL 3rd gen EMUs but the Southern Livery is one of my favourite liveries on the UK Rail Network
Oh i absolutely agree that it would be great to have the class 455 in tsw2, in my original post i was referring the op's statement that there were no plans to replace the the 455's, which unfortunately there are and very soon aswell.
So last chance to get a record? Or take it from AP Anyway, day1 purchais from me. London commuter runs well on my 13 year old "high end" pc, so i would like to have the 455 and cl700 as dlc in addition.
These are Class 416/415 or 423. How about 4-COR 411 421 CIG. Spoiler: Class 411 4COR Can be introduced if DTG wanted Hastings Line 1986 made then have that layer to BML as an Electric 3rd rail railtour set Regarding Class 455/8 Depot Stewarts Line is in the game map not accessible as of right now. If Class 455/8 arrived in TSW 2 Stewarts Lane Depot will be accessible by the player for Early morning moves.
Great suggestion, If dovetail makes this a dlc I would buy LC but I think personally it should include the crystal palace line and the section of the line that starts at London bridge stations which I think would make them add it to the game. Also even if it does get added to modern LC then it can be added to a future retro version later on if dtg thinks its a good idea.
