Welcome back to the Train Simulator Screenshot Contest!

This week's theme is: Driver’s View

You can vote for next week's theme in the poll attached to this thread. What is your choice?

Follow us on Instagram (instagram.com/trainsim) to see your screenshots featured on our feed!

    How does it work?

You can submit your screenshot to the thread, and every Friday we will choose which screenshots will go to the loading screens. Shortly after, we will open a new thread and announce the winners. Each week has its own theme which is voted for by the community.

    Competition Rules:
    • Limit is 2 screenshots per person; 1 screenshot per post.
    • Include in your post the route the screenshot was taken on as well as the name of the train (if applicable).
    • Screenshots must be in a 16:9 resolution, at least 1920x1080 pixels.
    • Screenshots must fit the theme of the week, as stated at the beginning of this post.
    • In order to qualify for the competition, screenshots must be taken from products published by Dovetail Games that are currently on sale.
    Other Rules:

    • Official content only. Please make sure anything that is not available on the Steam Store or Dovetail Store is not shown in the screenshot. - This means no reshade, repaint mods, track upgrades or workshop routes.
    • Your entry may be disqualified if it is deemed to not follow these rules. Please limit chat to only when absolutely necessary.
    • Competition closes at mid-day Friday (UK time). The winner will be chosen every Friday.
    • Winner's Prize: The winning screenshot will appear in the game as a loading screen for 1 week!
(Please Note since the new update which changes loading times we have decided to change it to 1 week)

    T&C:
    • Please refer the terms and conditions for this competition here:
    https://dovetailgames.com/competition-terms-and-conditions/
    • Note that by submitting an entry to this contest, you are consenting to us using your screenshot as a loading screen and showing it on our social media channels (such as Instagram)

A Southern Pacific U33C prepares to enter Tunnel #9 at the Tehachapi Loop, just past the west end of Walong siding, sometime in the 70's. The rear caboose and the helper pair can be seen above. The distinct L-Shaped Cab windows that most SP locos came with between the late 60's thru the 70's can be seen on the GE's cab

Yes, you are right. DTG must have added that after I bought it and I didn't notice. Apologies for the bother. I've now deleted my post to draw less attention to it.

I think what you wrote was very unnecessary.

Why don't you "Keep your opinions to yourself" too?

I think what you wrote is that you do not show any respect so I think you should apologize.

You are not employed by DTG.

    Pardon my intervention but..
this has gone way off topic hasnt it?

This isnt the place for a slanging match.
I'd suggest getting back on topic before a mod/staff shuts the thread.

It is fine, honestly. I'm pleased you have the livery as well. It was no bother but thank you for apologising though.

Now this thread has closed for this week I feel it is time to explain, why I posted my comment.
This is not the first time this thread has attempted to be de-railed by someone who plays TSW2. and has no interest in competing in the TS Classic Sreenshot thread.
I welcome new blood and energy to this comp but have no time for folks that disregard the rules and feel it is fine to post comments, when it clealrly states in the rules,
    • Your entry may be disqualified if it is deemed to not follow these rules. Please limit chat to only when absolutely necessary.
I would not dream of going on to the TSW Screenshot thread and start a discussion which would detract from the theme out of respect.
I also expect the same respect for the TS Classic Screenshot thread.
If anyone wishes to debate any aspect of either screenshot comp then please by all means do so by starting a new thread or PM the person concerned.
When you come home from work, log on to this forum and see 4 new posts in the screenshot thread, I expect to see 4 cracking new screenshots, not a debate about something completely irrelevant.
I hope that explains my reasoning for posting as I did.
Please feel free to PM or start a new thread if you would wish to discuss further.
    Best wishes to all
