Digital Traction Wagon Pack 1

Hi,
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me. I recently downloaded the steaming over beattock route and some of the scenarios require Digital Traction's Wagon Pack 1. Whereabouts would I find this? I can't see it on there website or on Steam. I'm aware there is a Great British Wagon Pack on Digital Traction's website but I'm not sure if it is the same. Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. I've been playing Train Sim a while but this is my first time posting on a forum.

But wait for confirmation off of someone who actually owns the pack before going ahead and buying it.

The reason I say this is because I have the folder structure within my Assets for DT_Wagon_pack1 and within that are DT_BolsterC, DT_ChinaClay_wagon, DT CrocodileH_wagon, DT_Lowmac_wagon & DT_TubeLong_wagon but I don't actually own the pack so I'm assuming my having the file structure is down to some other modification that includes modified .bins for this pack (that's all that's in my folders .bin files and a few texture files).

Reef, the link you provided is indeed this pack. I've just purchased it, here's the contents. It's actually Wagon Pack 1 & 2 in a bundle. Old but gold

I have the OTA's as they're available in the free download section, as for payware I have the British Rail Wagon Pack not surprisingly (due to my South Wales location) for the BLA's.

 

The OTA's won't download. I get an invalid 3 MB zip file. The rest works though.

Are you aware of scenarios for the Johnson 4-4-4 "Midland Misfit" (free download)?

 

Oh how odd, I just tried re-downloading the OTA's and as you say there's definitely an error with it, I'll drop them a message to make them aware.

I didn't even know about the 4-4-4 let alone any scenarios for it, downloaded it now, will have to have a search about for some scenarios.

 

A lot of DTs Wagon Packs are requirements for freeware routes etc, so get them while they are 25% off. DT don’t often have discounts on their stock packs but have regular sales on their locomotives nearly every season.

I don’t need them but thinking of adding the Milk wagon pack and the new metropolitan pack which surprisingly is discounted after being released a week ago. Has anyone any idea what they are required for please?

Definitely a good idea to pick up this wagon pack. Unlike the DT Mk1s, I doubt the wagons will be available in a bundle on Steam again anytime soon. Reason for that of course being that they are still available elsewhere, while the Mk1s have been replaced by the current AP ones.

That said, the Mk2e pack needs to reappear in a bundle somewhere. They come up as requirements everywhere, and there are multiple packs by David Brindley at UKTS that make use of them, in addition to others. It would be good to see them usable again. And yes, I know of (and own) the AP a-c and d-f packs, but that involves stock swapping.

 

I have just purchased the DT Milk wagon pack and the new DT Metropolitan pack 1, and I am not disappointed. Only three Wagon packs, I haven’t purchased so may add to this sale or next.

A wagon pack for just over £4 in the sale is a steal.

 

The OTAs worked for me. Bought them this morning and checked them this afternoon all fine.

There are a number of scenarios that require stock no longer available - Like IHH Stock
I don't see AP releasing them again as it would deter sales from the newer stock.

You do know LocoSwap will change every instance of a Loco/Coach/Wagon in a scenario?

You can't without DT's permission, freeware or not.

You mean the Mk2e scenarios released on Steam, or on their own site? I have been trying to look up some older scenarios, so now I am curious to get my hands on these and see for myself. I did actually make a suggestion recently to bundle the IHH Bonus Stock with ECML; both are old, both have the Deltic and Class 47, and both have problems. (The last is a joke, obviously.)

Hold on. Since when was it not allowed for a user to provide content to another user? If payware, of course it's piracy, but if freeware? Is this actually in the TOS?

 

I just read them. Reef is right, they do not explicitely exclude freeware in their T&Cs.

 

I don't know of any DT Mk2e Scenarios released on Steam as the stock was not available on Steam.
