Nice update, but I've found some issues with the GP9. 1. The cab switch for the headlights does not have any effect. You still have to turn the headlights on using H key. 2. The gauge lights are messed up - the glass cover gets brighter but the gauges are not illuminated and illegible at night. If you find some more please post here, hopefully DTG will report those to VNHRR who will surely provide a fix.
Re: Out Now: Springfield Line Update by GreatNortherner » Sat May 07, 2022 12:57 pm Hi all, Thanks much for the kind comments and the reports about the headlight buttons. That headlight switch issue is a strange one -- I can replicate this but I have no idea why the in-cab buttons don't work. The important thing is that the headlights themselves still work, both via the H key and the HUD button, so at least I didn't break any existing functionality. As long as those light switches remain the only thing that's not quite right, I'm temped to leave this as it is and not bother DTG with yet another patch/update. Cheers, Michael Michael has stated on RWA (above) that he doesn’t know how to get the switches working and the headlights work anyway so he does not intend to respond. Frankly I don’t blame him as it is a freebie and he has other things to concentrate on. 90+ percent of dlc don’t have working switches so .........
Thanks for forwarding this. It seems (and makes me wonder a little) I am the only one who noticed the Gauge Lights issue. I'm ok with the headlights, but I even printed it in red that the gauge lights are now broken, before they were simply permanently illuminated. I like driving at night and it is a bit of a turn-off now. As there was apparently nobody confirming my post, I'll wait and see if I can fix it for myself, probably just an alpha value issue. My cousin worked in tech support telling me if there's only one person having issues, it's an individual case and not worth the work.
I've just received a PM from Michael Stephan (VNHRR/G-Trax). He said they are about to fix even more stuff, but it will take some time.
