I would recommend buying the Northern Trans-Pennine route as it showcases the best of BR Blue and there are many steep inclines to keep you busy and you get 3 extra locos/trains.

Also the peak included in this route is so powerful and good looking and sounds brilliant.

I really enjoy SEHS, and would recommend if you like commuter routes.

I have been enjoying WSR recently!

Something really relaxing about trundling through the English countryside with the class 33 dlc and listening to the clickety clack especially with the mk1s!

Can't wait for the mastery challenges to be released either!

Agree re North Transpennine. Still probably the best UK route in the game. Class 45 is excellent but for a sublime experience try the Class 101 DMU on an all stations run at dusk or dawn. The manual gear changes and set/lap braking will give your skills a real test.

Based of how you used the word “extension”, I maybe wrong but just in case you are new to TSW, new routes won’t snap like a puzzle piece to others they’re all individuals currently

I would recommend Northern Transpennine or Southeastern High-speed but I would recommend above all else to research the DLCs available perhaps through YouTube beforehand so you can see the content available in them
