There is a problem with br Class 47 on consoles (found on Xbox), at least with br Blue one from Northern Trans-Pennine. When pressing "B" button on controller which resets safety systems. The problem is, that besides resetting AWS it releases deadman's pedal for te moment, and if DSD is not isolated, leading to instant emergency brakes application. This makes fast AWS resetting impossible. Additionally there is no precisional controlling on consoles, since TSW2 introduced immersion controls. I personally don't like it. It's really annoying. Most locomotives make player get used to "B" resetting AWS without touching deadman's pedal like br Class 45, or br Class 40, where deadman's pedal initializes braking when player doesn't sit. Please comment what do you think and like this thread, so chance of someone from DTG will see it will increase. I also wish everyone from DTG as stressless as possible work
If you don't like the immersion controls (which I prefer to the old controls) then you can change the control layout back to classic in settings.
It's not I don't like it. I love it! Finally you can zoom on consoles, you can change camera pretty fast etc. Just pressing "B" realeases deadman's pedal. I think it should just press AWS reset button as in br Class 40 and br Class 45.
While on NTP it's not a big problem, because AWS doesn't work there, but this loco can drive on a lot of routes using as called "layers", like on ECW, SEHS, Cathcart Circle etc. I personally would like to be able to turn DSD on without those emergency brakes everytime I reset AWS.
Noticed this issue on NTP, only happens if DSD is un-isolated, I think it’s to do with how DSD basically checks if you stand up and when the dead man’s peddle moves it thinks you’ve stood up, it’s strange cause I’m sure the pedal is used in other locos for resetting vigilance but 47’s don’t have vigilance I only use AWS isolation on this class, because of this issue
Do you have WSR? That would be helpful, because you could write in comment if this applies to the WSR br Class 47 or not.

I haven't experienced the problem on the WSR green 47. It seems to be a problem with the blue one only.
had a check with the green 47 the pedal moves when acknowledging button is pressed but no brake application upon doing so

Use current account your using technical reports is a thread area on his forum, this one is Xbox discussions and technical report is just beneath that option

I see now, I don’t recall ever using that service myself but if you tried your DTG login I imagine it should work
