I’ve been enjoying the game on various platforms since the very first iteration of TSW came out. SoS seems to be a big step up for DTG and I for one congratulate them for it! The route is fine, but for me the beauty is in the stock! It’s an incredible feat to have got all the nuts and bolts working together and the models are beautiful. Congratulations to everyone at DTG, you deserve the praise! I’ve most enjoyed putting the Jubilee in “off the rails” on the WSR, it’s blooming relaxing and gives you a chance to work out the engine at a slow speed. my only gripe thus far? The ghost fireman! He’s not there! I’m on PS5 and can’t see him at all!
Yeah I was gonna put on a post like this. Yeah I agree there's a few minor issues like the fireman being invisible alot of the time (which was mentioned on stream so DTG are aware) but honestly this route and just the steam trains in general are amazing. One of the first things I did was go onto wsr with the jubilee too. Honestly well worth the money. DTG should be proud. Yeah it's amazing just wow to be honest.
I told myself i wouldn't buy sos on release. Guess what? I did. It was worth it! Without a doubt my fav route. I had lost all faith in DTG, but sos restored all of my faith. This is how its done! and all this has been done in house, with folks literally learning on the job. I say that because there is barely info on whole steam routes.I had my doubts about this, and they have been null and voing. Well done DTG, well done
