Hi everyone Lee here!. I am very impressed with the Spirit Of Steam DLC for TSW2 so far and enjoying it immensely, however, i've been trying to do the "Let Off Some Steam" journey missions/scenarios and well, i get towards the end area where you have to stop, before moving up abit and reversing into the siding, however.....once i stopped at the location the train derails itself/jumps off the track, i was wondering if anyone else has encountered, this problem before?. I mean so far i've been enjoying the Game + DLC alot , would love some help with feedback or tips!
If you apply the brakes suddenly and you open them a lot, the loco may be stopping (mainly due to the steam brake), while the wagons do not yet have any brake application. The heavy weight of the train may collide with the loco, causing a derailment. So apply brakes gradually.
