Just wondered if anyone who has bought the SOS DLC has tried to use the RD with it? Is it any good?

Yes, it works pretty well I think.
    - RD Reverser = In-cab reverser/cutoff
    - RD Ind Brake = Regulator
    - RD Auto Brake = Vacuum Brake
    - RD Lights = Large Ejector
    - RD Wiper = (I forget which)

edit: Remember to calibrate first in-game obviously.

Works really well, good control over the large and small injectors (should be called exhausters), blower and dampers, plenty of room for buttons for the steam and water injectors once they are implemented.

IMHO configuration of Raildriver for SOS is one of the best in whole TSW2.

Yep, Raildriver works very well with SoS locomotives. The controls are set up slightly differently to the other TSW2 locomotives but it’s very easy to figure out what does what!
As tbaac says, recalibrate your Raildriver before driving this route :)

Thanks, will definitely look at this at a later date. One question about SOS, I saw JD put a guide up how to get the Engine started and provided a really helpful picture labelling the controls but he seemed to leave out the Dampers, what controls them on the RD?

dhekelian, to answer your question the Range key up position is for Damper increase and the E-Stop key up position is for the Rear Damper increase. Hope that’s helpful!
