PC Steam Engines On Train Sim World 2 Are Running Too Hot By Default

    I really believe the steamers run too hot, above and beyond hot. if you watch the begginer's video on them it even says it there. past the red line your steamer might blow up. in the game your steamer's boiler pressure is beyond the red line plus the saftey valve is hammered with high pressure steam. Something's gone wrong with this. should really be looked into

    if you slam the throttle to 100% then zero back and fourth then it will go down

    I figured also you have to abuse the blower as well and make sure you only use teh dampers as need it. Is it a bug or is something the player must deal with as IRL?

    Well, please don't quote me on this but I believe that red line could represent the maximum operation pressure, then you have a bit of leeway before the safety valves lift at the actual max safe pressure (+ a safety margin) to get the pressure under control. I wouldn't think that something that obvious could be missed by the dev team.
