I would like to purchase SOS, but i am still on PS4. From what i have read in the forum there is a difference in what you see in the DTG STORE / Galerie and how it looks like on the PS4. Some people reported low Poly, angular buffers and blocky controls, which means that the product does not look as offered in the DTG shop. I am not interersted in a leagal discussion. I simply would like to know how bad it is, if at all, and the trade-off is acceptable. Could somebody please share some screens form the locos.

I'm still on PS4 and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Driving is so absorbing that I haven't really noticed anything too jarring. We're all going to be moving to PS5 one day but at least I now have a good reason to do so and something to look forward to with the extra features it will bring. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy what the PS4 has to offer.
You're welcome Just from watching this DTG stream video - in my opinion it looks good, reminds me the Northern Trans-Pennine. Framerate also looks decent: 20FPS in Crewe, then 25 just outside of it. The only thing I don't like in regards to the graphic is the low poly cab interior.
I'm also of the opinion it looks good on gen 8 in contrary to what I was expecting. This is only based on the footage from streams. Don't own it yet. So can't speak about perfomance
Definitive! I think they found a good compromise here. It's not all perfect, but as long as you're still on the PS4, you can probably live with the smears. It is OK. But... - Steam! Steam! Steam! Finally Steam! It's so much fun and joy! Yes, absolutely yes!
Hum. Well they said they were going to show case what it looks like on PS4 in that stream. It was VERY short which tells you all you need to know. All the DTG ambassadors up until now unless I’ve missed a full PS4 stream? have streamed it on YouTube via a PC or the latest gen console. But hey! it’s your £25. Me, I’ll wait until it drops to a fair price in a sale for something like £12.99 - £14.99. Unless by some miracle PS5’s become properly available, drop to a sensible price, or I win one in some raffle / lottery.
