Route: GWE-Diesel Legends of the Great Western
Service: 1A27 London Paddington (journey mode 2nd chapter)
    Traction: Class 52 (passenger service)
    Platform: Xbox series S
Problem: Journey is started at Reading in heavy rain, once you get the 125mph speed limit the loco engines cut out if you try to throttle above notch 7 or exceed about 73 mph. Engines had cut out 7 times by the time I reached OOC. Also the AWS warning symbol doesn't appear and it does exactly the same in timetable on default weather. Tried 1A23 in timetable mode with the same result!

I just posted the same issue. Every express hauled by Class 52 / Class 45 is having the same problem...

Have found out this issue affects the PlayStation too but only the Diesel Legends class 52, the WSR one isn't affected

I've had exactly the same problems. Only been happening since the last updated patch on 30th May.

Try reaching 95 mph with Class 45 pulling an express train ( on GWE )

I use to push them to 100mph before the update. No issues at all. Now they stall at 90 mph...

    Please check that...

I have the same problem with the 52 as well. I'm on pc. I was doing the second penzance service on journey mode and mine cut off at 55mph. I had to restart the engines. Didn't finish the service, so I don't know if it happens constantly in the service.

Hi. I did a run with the 45 and I was able to reach 96mph without an issue. I just put it on full throttle and let it roll. I'm on pc btw if that is relevant.

I’ve just had the same problem on the 2nd scenario on dlogw,so it’s not just something I’m doing.

I just had the same problem, tried the 06:00 London Paddington service, just left Reading, building speed nicely, full throttle, at 43mph, engine stopped, couldn't restart it so I gave up, also have had some stalls on West Cornwall, on arrival into Camborne on the loco hauled services, happened once heading eastbound and twice (re tried service) westbound, could Rivet and/or DTG look at this?

I was doing an express service in the 52 and the engines kept cutting out when in full throttle. Having to restart both engines was annoying. Also I was doing some shunting in the class 08 and when I coupled to another set of coaches, the texture of the gangway seal thing was stretched horribly, I might add. Series S

I've had that one too! Found it hilarious because it's not just when you couple up! You might see it around OOC even going at right angles to the coaches
