    Howdy!

I have had a very serious problem for a week. I saw some forums and even a video with this bug (independent brake bug) but I still couldn't find help. So I decided to make a forum about this bug.
At first I enter the Powering America script (part 1) the dispatcher speaks to me if I'm not mistaken after I enter the locomotive ac4400cw that's what I think it was called. I follow all the steps until I reach the next goal:

    GET MOVING
Release the Independent brake and apply power.

I added power but the brake doesn't work, yes it works, I gave it a release but the lens still illustrates me to brake the release. bug and I don't think I'm the only one. I don't know what to do for a week, I'm constantly here.
I'm waiting for someone's answer. Anyone who didn't understand can say.

    Until then, greetings!
    :D

Hi there. I just tested out this scenario and it worked fine for me (I'm also on pc). It seems to only register and move onto the next prompt when I applied 2 notches of power

I mentioned the fact that I and another person who posted this bug experienced this problem. Now I assume there are more people but have not posted the problem on the foru. But not everyone experiences this problem and most of the people.

Large bump but this scenario came up by random and still appears to be broken.
Set up slow speed control, release indie and apply power but the release indie objective never clears.
Put the throttle in Notch 2 as suggested above, doesn't help.
Stopped train on the indie, released and put throttle in Notch 2 and the objectives still don't advance.
Seems this scenario is still broken.

I do remember this scenario, in 2 parts I think. And my record shows that I did complete both parts. Unfortunately it was so long ago that I can't recall any issues except to vaguely remember having to wait a very long time for the progress to be updated and being able to move the train. About 10 minutes maybe. I'm guessing though.

Might give it another go, if it is a random bug. More anecdotal to mention really as the chances of DTG revisiting this OG route are pretty much non existent. Just a shame as it means yet another route with a broken element in the Journey Mode meaning it can never be completed.

It only works with 30 or 60 fps, I'm not sure witch one, so put al game settings on low and release the brake and then put all settings back and continue the scenario.
