I'm curious why, whenever the auto brake is applied from the CTC3 cab car, there is a constant air exhaust sound.
When a reduction is made, and brake applied, valves are closed and pressure maintained. This suggests an open valve, which doesn't make sense to me, based on how I understand brake systems.

I've read a while back in the forums that that just copied the brake sounds/mechanics from the f40 in peninsula corridor. So instead of it being a automatically lapped brake, it's acting as a self lapped brake. But don't actually know why it does that or it's related to it. Something we'll have to deal with for now.

If you want a temporary work around, turn off the ep brake circuit breaker above the windshield

Thanks. Does it affect how strong the brakes are or anything?

It is a fault, you're correct the valve should not be open. I was not aware of that work-around paweuek good one, that will make driving them much more pleasant.

    You're welcome;)
Sorry but that find is actually not mine. I couldn't find the original author:( but the credits are for him/her ;-)

I agree that this solution saves a lot of nerves and ears:D
