How does one fail a scenario by passing a red signal, when I’m not in my loco, and when my loco is not moving?? It seems that the 8.18 service from Northampton to Edgehill at 8.26 and 20 seconds, you will pass a danger signal and fail the scenario no matter what you’re doing... this happens every time.... I’ve submitted a form, anybody else found this?
It isn't you that pass a "phantom danger signal", it's a AI-train somewhere on the route. And since steam trains are both sluggish and have a longer braking distance, its probably the cause of your service failure. Hopefully a future update will solve this.
Unfortunately this is a core error in the game. It doesn't have to be the player / driver that passes a signal at danger. ANYONE who does so will cause the game to end, and because of the way that AI trains are programmed they can often run red lights and cause this failure. Hopefully DTG work out a way to consistently stop AI trains a few yards in front of stop signals without causing other problems
