So, I have had TSW2 on PS5 since January, and during sales, I have bought most of the UK routes. However, sharing the PS5 within the family has been frustrating. (Selfish, I know ) So, I now have it for PC as well, so I can escape the noise. I knew it would not run flawlessly, but my I3 and GTX960 actually cope OK, and I can run at a mostly stable 30fps. PC is getting upgraded later in the year anyway. I now want to purchase some of my UK routes on the PC. I can wait for sales, but I have also found some DLC on Instant Gaming, fanatical, etc. Any issues buying from these type of sites? I also noticed, I could actually buy TSW2020, for around £3. This comes with 2 of the routes I enjoy, (NTP, GWE). Am I correct in thinking that if I buy TSW2020, those routes in question will get upgraded to the preserved collection in TSW2? Or is it not that simple? Does not seem "right" but I will take it if it works.
Fanatical is trustworthy, they often have good sale on selected TSW products. I cant speak about instant gaming No problem if you can grab TSW2020 you ll receive the included, préserved routes in TSW2. (i have done this when TSW2020 was still on Steam)
For anybody interested, All went smoothly regarding the install. I would say that's pretty good value for the routes I got. Just a pity that on the GWE scenario where you can choose 3 trains from Paddington, they get stuck at a red light leaving the station. Tried 2 out of the 3 trains last night. Do not have this issue on PS5. Very strange.
What seems incredible for me is that when i bought GWE, well in october last year, this bug was already here..... So much time for fixing bugs...
