    Morning All,

Has anyone else on PS5 had sound issues since the DLC update was applied?

The rail joint sounds are there now but the steam exhaust has practically disappeared, especially when at speed.

    cheers

I can also confirm for PC, with every clack clack the puff puff disappears, very annoying.
Since the patch, the wind sounds also stutter.

The wind sound stutters are horrible. It is no fun at all to exceed 30mph. Moved my Jubilee to WSR for some "Museum drives". But i have the impression that every batch generates major problems, whereas minor issues are fixed. i ll stay with version 1.84 - no more updates, no more DLC´s.

Yep, wind stutters and loops now on PS5, I also appear to have 2 safety valves on the jubilee that conflict with each other (making the audio a bit choppy).

The other thing I noticed was that we also appear to have developed a very loud coupler ‘clank’ on other routes HRR and GWE…. Very odd

    Hi all,
I've just taken the 8F for a run on Steam (PC) and have been able to reproduce the looping artefact of the wind noise. However, the steam "chuff" problem has been more difficult to pin down. So, we can log this for further investigation, it would be greatly appreciated if any affected players could share a video of their experience. The best way to do this would be to upload an unlisted video to YouTube and provide a link in your post.

Thanks again, for any who can help.

Hopefully this helps you out there sir, but let's appreciate that I got the 8F up to 78 miles per hour, 2 more and we could officially class it as a DeLorean

OT: 80 mph is not enough, the DeLorean needs 88 mph. Here, some Presto fire logs.

I thought they need a sample from inside. From outside it is just noise. From inside you can clearly hear the stutters of the wind sound.
Unfortunately i have no idea how to do the video and upload it to YT.
Also i would like to understand, why it is so difficult to revert an update. If the sound is screwed up, why not put the old one in.
    Does anybody know ?

    Hi ianjpoole,
Thank you, that video is very helpful, and I will pass this information on to the development team.

I hope the wind sound looping gets fixed soon, driving me nuts.
