Hello, the route between Liverpool Street and Shenfield is quite a busy route. Below are some details about stock runnings and route details It's smaller then London to Brighton but offers a chance to include some new stock. I don't believe any route in the UK has changed so much in terms of rolling stock over the last 5-6 years. Pretty much GA have replaced their entire fleet now. 321's are still lingering on but not many in full service, Class 90's went a few years ago and the FLIRTS seem to be doing a good job. With Crossrail opening, they'd be winning with the consumer as a new railway == more interest. Route Map Trains Used: - Class 720 - GA's new fleet of commuter trains. - Class 345's - Crossrail - would likely come under the TFL Rail licence - Class 66 - Freight movement between Stratford and Shenfield - Class 08's - Ilford Depot - Class 745/755's ( I doubt these would be included but with ATS's TSC version, could be possible? ). - 315's ( We already have the 314's ). - Class 321's ( they are being phased out but could make it interesting? ). Interesting Points - Ilford Depot - shunting units around the yard? - Freight workings out of stratford, typically using the Class 66. - Class 345 would be great considering the recent opening of Crossrail - Route could be extended to other places in phases - Southend, Colchester OR you could go the otherway and do a Crossrail extension?.
Possibly, but if they were to do the 720, it's more usable then the 90 would be in this section of track. Although if it were extended to somewhere like Colchester/Ipswich then yeah I'd say so
For class 755 if it broke down you can continue the journey on diesel power. Spoiler: Class 755 Scenario Technical issues. Operate this service Norwich service that stops at Shenfield to London Liverpool Street. At one point in the journey 25kv OHLE system fails. To complete the scenario activate diesel power
