Now I have seen that Liverpool-Crewe has two livery variants of the Mk1 coach, the maroon livery and the one I want to focus on here, the blood & Custard livery, as seen here. Now I want to ask you this... ...Have you see this livery anywhere in this routes timetable? Because I haven't. For reference, the image you see there is from scenario planner, as a 5 coach Jubilee formation has a few Blood & Custards among the consists. But from having checked this routes timetable, it is nowhere to found anywhere. It isn't featured in any of the services that run on this route, it doesn't even feature as static stock anywhere, it is strangely absent from the routes timetable. The only place it seemingly shows up is in the scenarios/tutorials. Also before anyone asks, I'm a PC user, so this isn't something that is just restricted to Gen 8 consoles, but rather something that I would presume is present on all other platforms that this route is available on. Hopefully in the future, this coach will be added to more services on this route because, if this route is going to go out of it's way to have the same coach come in two different liveries, at least make the most of them in the routes timetable and not just use one and leave the other out, as it can get boring just seeing the same liveried Mk1 all the time here.
Just reported it to DTG Support and it's been picked up for investigation. Even they are saying that's it's weird that it's not showing anywhere in the route's timetable, so hopefully this means in a future update, that the Blood & Custard liveried will impliemented onto some services and maybe even as some static stock at some of the yards at Crewe & Edge Hill.
Don’t recall seeing it either on series x, especially haven’t seen any mixed coach stock services, only one livery both 2nd and 1st class
Going to bring this up again as recently, the 8F got some Mk1 consists in scenario planner, and they all with the maroon livery. Non of those new 8F mk1 consists have a Blood & Custard livery anywhere in the consist. I would expect something liket this for the old gen consoles (PS4 & Xbox One) But it seems strange that the Blood & Custard livery isn't even appearing much on Liverpool-Crewe's timetable and even now among the 8F mk1 consists on the likes of PC & the 9th Gen consoles (Xbox Series X/S & PS5) , but hopefully this is something that can be addressed soon.
Hi all, just to confirm the "blood & custard" mk1 coaches have yet to be implemented into Timetable mode on any platform. However, it is something we would like to add a later date, if possible. This will require further testing, as expanding the timetable any further may cause issues on certain platforms. For those who wish to make use of the "blood & custard" mk1 coaches now, you can find them in tutorials, scenarios and the scenario planner.
*Face palm* Why bother developing something if it's not used!? Is it possible to have them as a substitution so they're randomised either as complete consists, or even better have a random consist generator so each train is essential "made up at scenario load"?
The main thing is that they are already advertised on the sales pages as part of the route. Now you have to read that they have not yet been implemented, so you are selling us something with the knowledge that the said content has not been implemented?! Slowly I doubt your sanity, when you think you can't do any worse, you just add one more on top.
Not quite a trading standards issue as they HAVE implemented them and supplied them... you can use them in the planner. It does make me wonder why they would go to all the trouble of making them and NOT sprinkling them liberally around the route.
I know this thread is from last year, but has there been any developments on this during that time ? would be good to get an update on progress
