Bug type: gameplay issue Platform: Steam (PC) DLC: East Coastway Mode: Explore on foot Loco: Class 377 I spawned on foot at Eastbourne at 20:00 and manually took over service 1G57 (20:03 to Brighton). As soon as I clicked "begin" and sat down, I immediately received a "service failure: vehicle derailed" message. I was able to recreate the same bug three times, using different weather settings: June light rain (preset) June light rain with clouds set to maximum June clear (preset) I had no mods installed. Service 1G57 works perfectly fine when launching from timetable mode. It only appears to derail when being taken over manually while on foot.
Can confirm have had the same bug, but on Xbox Series X, regarding spawning on foot but, as you say, finished the service via the timetable menu.
Aaaaand this is why I'm skeptical about self-driving cars! I went ahead and logged ticket #47522 with tech support. They've confirmed and logged the bug.
