Has anyone found BML is crashing on loading since the update? I’ve verified files, need to try removing the enhancement mod for the route but just curious if anyone else has had anything. it has worked with mod absolutely fine and never crashed until Monday
Dont recall seeing BLM Pak file being updated on Monday although would need to double check. Perhaps something in core has upset the mod file?

I had this across all routes and I ended up installing the whole game one dlc at a time and then testing each DLC before moving on. Doing this I discovered having Sherman Hill installed caused crashes across all routes. Since then Ive had zero crashes. It sounds impossible and I can't explain why or how but it worked for me. (You don't need to uninstall just move the Pak files into a separate folder and then move them back one by one)

I have those constantly since the steam trainset was released and installed and I was told it is corruption, even though the file verification process in STREAM is reporting all is fine, SFC /SCANNOW report no issue, and CHKDSK /R is also reporting fine
Did you mean the 375? Regardless what is causing it, the frequency of forum users reporting Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION crashes does seem to have increased significantly since SoS released, it could just be because Ive suffered from these I am noticing them more ofcourse.
my system crashed now total when i choosed on ska new journeys time table so i had to make a hard reset.......... maybe this is also due the new update like here on bml ? i have a crash on BML too but "only" ue error and CTD not the whole system
I've sent my crash logs direct to Matt for the last 4 crashes. The only route I'm having drop out on is BML. Verified Uninstalled BML enhancement mod Uninstalled all mods Uninstalled and reinstalled BML Still crashes on start up of route at loading screen . I'll try some other routes tomorrow and report back
Have you tried uninstalling the core route? (Move the dlc out of the folder and save on your desk top to avoid having to download them all again perhaps)
Yes I did yeah if you mean BML ,tried moving the park file out and then back in. I tried the Sherman one too. I think what I'll try tomorrow is moving SOS out and then back in
Update - Removing Spirit of Steam pak - no change, route still crashes on launch. Really odd as all was tickety boo pre Monday update.
While I'm not on PC, but console, since the latest update, playing the route, had a first-ever in-game crash on BML, resulting it going back to the Xbox home screen. For context, have played more than 300 services on BML, never had such issues before, frustratingly.
That's interesting to know. I'm not sure what's going on and just awaiting crash logs being looked at
Just fired TSW2 up and got a crash straight away, it's telling me that the London Brighton pak file is corrupt? How? Haven't touched the game in a while!
Anyone else still having an issue. I've tried mod free = Crashes Mods installed - Crashes Verified files - Crashes Uninstalled and reinstalled - Crashes....
I know this does not really help you, but played I BML last night without issues. Did 1 scenario and 3 timetable runs. Probably not relevant, but its worth noting I only have a few extra routes and no mods (Yet)
Removing all mods and literally having the london commuter .PAK alone it works ok. Adding in all my other routes as shown - it crashes which makes me think its not a mod. Am I missing a mod in this list?
I might begrudgingly have to, only downside being that folder normally has about 80-90 files in it so it's gonna be a slow ass process letting the game crash that many times
chieflongshin hey if u have this mod installed delete it i know this mod has nothing to do with BML but since then all my problems gone couldnt start tsw2 no more so this helped me found out that this mod is responsible for the ctd = TS2Prototype-SKA-422+185-RRO-Layer-Replacements-v1_1_needs_HRR
Personally I'd put all the none UK DLC Pak files back into the correct folder then test it. I'm going to take a stab that these won't be the cause. Then put any BR blue locos/routes in then test again (again I doubt these are the cause) Finally assuming you still aren't seeing crashes put the remaining UK Pak files back in one by one and see which is causing the crash. Then uninstall this file correctly and reinstall. And hopefully this will fix the issue.
So exploring this morning. We're already crashing just with these few paks installed. Am i missing a mod here?
Can't see any mods. Try removing Paddington reading as that's the one which got updated prior to you getting crashes perhaps?
Ma To be truthful I sent crash logs to Matt and he kindly forward to engineers but I thought I'd try here too . I'd be interested to know what the issue was. I can only assume a mod wasn't compatible somewhere following the recent update but if I recollect I only had the one installed for that route
After the latest TSW2 update, the "1972 Stock Cab Door Enabler" pak caused a crash when you started any route (there's an update that fixed the problem), maybe other patches had similar issues.
Glad you BML up and running; I wouldn’t want to be without that route for long. Was this the update that allowed the game to only load the assets needed for the specific session? If so, it’s amazing that there weren’t more crashes with mods. I seem to have gotten away unscathed … with nearly 70 mods. For those who haven’t seen it, I highly recommend Mod Manager by TaskPlays.
