Hello I'd like to propose a uncommon diesel loco: the LMS 10000. This was the first diesel loco built in UK in 1947 to be utilized by LMS in the West Coast Main Line between London-Derby-Manchester-Glasgow. In 1948 it was transferred to British Railway together with its twin, the LMS 10001, and its name was changed to D16/1. Both locos were retired and scrapped in mid '60s. I think that WCLM South London Euston-Birmingham Route scenarIes with MK1 coaches and freigth coches would perfectly fit for the LMS 10000. Thanks and regards.
IIRC 10000 was completed just before nationalization and 10001 just after. They were used in multiple on the Royal Scot. Have you seen this?
I remember seeing them passing through Tamworth Low Level, usually together, on passenger trains either the Royal Scot or the Midday Scot (they shared the duties with the ex SR Bulleid diesels 10201, 10202 and 10203) until replaced first by the Peaks (D1 - D10) and then, when there were enough of them by what became class 40. 10001 was stored at Derby for some years after 10000 was scrapped - guilty conscience maybe. Sadly both were cut up at their birthplace.
