Hello, i would like to buy some US routes during this sale, but only if i can find a good loco to go with. May you point me a realistic well done loco with good sounds and behaviour ? Be it included with a route (i doubt it) or as a dlc from DTG or other third party. Im eager to either put it on long freight or passengers routes. Thanks.

Surely it depends on the route(s) purchased or thinking of purchase. CP AC4400 is inappropriate for example on the B&O Mountain route. Reppo locos are very good but somewhat niche and time/era sensitive.
Yeah, I probably read the post too literally, as in routes in the sale and then a good loco to go with (sale unspecified). Still, worth being put on the radar as Woody does make some killer kit.
Not really. Foreign Power, although uncommon, happens all over North America. I have seen Ferromex, CN, and CP locos in the flyover states for example.
Thanks for all that answered. Yes i will buy some routes during sales but im not limiting myself to sales, as so Searchlight is a perfect adress for me. And just like Cyclone pointed it, they have the AC4400 on Steam at 45%. Best of both worlds ! I will put it on a good Canadian route (Canadian mountain passés for à start) and also expand later in US. Now if only there was such an Empirebuilder... Anyway, thanks again.
