Has anyone won this tournament the best i've come in it is 15th using the rainbow special crankbait any other lures i use dont seem to get bites suppose i could use worm for the perch but would catch non eligable specie
The lure fishing mechanic lets me down cant master the stop and go or twitch techniqes which most lures use if i could master this think i would catch more predatory fish species
I've made it to the last one. I don't think I'll ever beat that one. It seems to take over 400 inches to be in first. There's no way I can get that in 20 minutes. The last time I tried I saw four big pike in one area near the surface. I tried every bait I had and never got a bite or much of a reaction at all. I've got most of the baits (and even the lynx bass boat) so I just don't think anything was biting for some reason. I didn't catch a single fish during that try.
4 inch perch swimbaits works good for trophy smallmouth and largemouth. I've got 2 northern over 30 lbs with it aswell.

Most of my bites came on the 2.5" rattle trap, silver I think. Sometimes, I'd throw a topwater to see if any big fish would come up so I'd know if they were in the area or not. Then, I'd throw the rattle trap if I saw something.
There's some times though, that I can try every single bait and not get a single bite.. so I'm not sure what's going on at those times.
In real life perch and pike will eat a lobworm/dendrabeana i know pike will as i have caught loads on popped up worm in my local canal. I have not caught one perch in game on worm or maggot
Can't get past the first Bergsee tournament either. There just isn't enough predator fish there. I mostly get like 2 perch and 1 pike if I am lucky. Completely wrong location for this tournament.
Golden tiger lure works really well as I’ve caught all the boss pike from the cannel with that lure also the pencil lures work great aswell hope tht helps
I'm finding this one rather odd. It seems as though the tournament has way less of a chance of catching fish than in practice. With the white and chartruse spinnerbait in practice I can get a decent pike almost every cast, in the tournament I'm lucky if I manage to get 3. Still gotta practice diffrent baits I suppose.
I had the most success with surface lures so far.The 2nd one was going great until the last 5 minutes & no mater what I do I don't get any bites at all but the competitors are constantly catching,this has happened 4 times in a row now.Getting fed up wasting Tackle Points entering this one to be honest,something just isn't right.
Just done this after 20+ hours Set up All three rods the same Fitzgerald Fishing Vursa Baitcaster Duckett Fishing 360 Black/Red Vursa Braid Black (50lbs) Popper - Honeycomb I casted two rods and left them and spinning with the other reel speed at 2 Hope this helps it was a nightmare
