Just trains have just announced the metropolitan line upgrade pack is now compatible with the steam version of the metropolitan line. I am off to purchase
It didn't really seem to have much of an impact on performance either way for me, though it does massively improve the appearance of the route
Have you tried JT's "Reg Detect And Fix" tool? https://support.justflight.com/supp...-was-not-detected-or-railworks-was-not-found-
FYI, the upgrade includes 14 unique scenarios for the S7 and S8. They are the same unique scenarios, just swapping the train. So it's also a mini scenario pack if you bought the S7 with the route, or either train separately.
Edited my post to prevent misinforming. I got the number wrong. Cheers for the correction. Should have checked that again when posting. LOL So yeah, just over a dollar a scenario.
I ended up caving in and bought the enhancement pack. I've only had a brief play around with it so far but it seems impressive so far and worth the £9.99 considering the number of scenarios that are included. The announcements also work well (I didn't know that you have to run the plugin from your desktop to start with). The scenery is nice although haven't noticed any considerable changes - it's a shame they couldn't optimise the route a bit more to help with frames - it runs ok but could be smoother.
The Met Line upgrade is cracked!! Great enhancement pack, the announcemnts, JT Track and the new bits of assts are amazing!
Does anyone know how do i put the AP Weather into the Met Line? I did it before the enhancement, but totally forgot on how to do it
same as any other route, open the routeproperties.xml, scroll to line ~50, see what it references for ToD files and replace them with the ones in the AP/WeatherEP folder
I normally copy the time of day files of th AP Weather to the time of day files of the routes, i don´t know how to do it by the way you explained..
I had a quick look last night. The metropolitan line seems to use the assets/dtg/academy weather files.
Yes, but even if you prefer the freeware district line route you'll still need JT's met line as a requirement anyway, and if you get this you'll need either the S7 or S8 stock to play the scenarios. Also as this thread highlights, the Met Line EP is well worth it.
Depends on what you call a Subway Route. Most of the line in the Central London area is underground or cut and cover so you get cuttings and open areas Going West from Finchley Road to Amersham and Uxbridge is above ground Have a look at the product on the Just Trains Website or find some videos on you tube
