You don't get TP per catch, only XP. You earn TP for every level you go up (1000 TP per level I think), or finishing top 3 in single player tournaments, or doing well in weekly online tournaments. Fastest way to earn TP is by playing single player tournaments, you can earn up to 15,000 TP in 20 minutes and you can repeat the tournaments as many times as you like.
Yeah, they took it out but Its not that bad. I have already hit level 100 and bought all hooks and baits on the game. Once you hit level 100, you prestige and get a extra star on your profile to show for it. It looks like you can prestige a few times.
