I'd like to suggest the 12-mile Gold Coast Light Rail or 'G:link' in Southeast Queensland, Australia. Services run the full length from Broadbeach South to Helensvale but some nighttime ones only go as far as Gold Coast University Hospital, near where the depot is located. There is only one loco, the Bombardier Flexity 2.
More Aussie representation here! However... DTG have said on many occasions that light rail or tram systems will not be included in the foreseeable future. On another note, I can think of many better Australian routes to cover before this one.
I believe with the GC light rail it might be worthwhile to wait a few years while the network is expanded before producing this route as then it may be able to have more services.
