Update July 13th: Pringles posters and vending machines should no longer say 'out of stock' on Bakerloo, Sand Patch Grade, and Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen routes. The passengers finally have something to eat aboard the trains!
I think most of that 2.3 GB was to make sure that all those passengers on Sand Patch have something to eat while their train is struggling up and over the mountain.
The pringles are actually the backup sand used on the locomotives. CSX was unable to afford more sand, so they invested in pringles instead. Unfortunately trains are getting stuck on the grade more often.
Well if you want an honest answer then it's 2.3gb cuz it's also redownloading stuff you already have installed. So to install something, everything gets rewritten
