As most, well some of you may or may not know I stream TSW about 2 or 3 times a week on my You Tube Channel. Those streams vary via the PS4 or PS5 version* of the game. Some streams I or my mum randomly pulls 5 or 6 routes out of the "ROUTE" bag I have and I play them in the stream, whether its Routes I only have on the PS4 or PS5 version. I also just play any 5 I want in the streams or I do Scenario Saturdays, You Tube Viewers vote the route live etc etc. But what I have been doing recently is streaming my discord members top 5 goto routes. So I thought I would ask you the TSW Community what are your top 5 goto routes. It doesnt matter what they are (obviously apart from the NEC New Jersey route) as I have all the routes for TSW 2. Can you list what your top 5 goto routes are below and with your permission I will stream them in my streams. The only thing I ask is fir you Put like GWE can you put whether it GWE 2015 or GWE 1970's. The same applies to Rapid Transit 2015 and Rapid Transit 2021. The other routes will all be played on their newest available timetables *Because of the PS5 DLC limit issue Anyway thanks in advance Hentis
I often pick at random but my favourites are probably Dresden - Riesa Koeln - Aachen London - Brighton London - Faversham Duisburg - Bochum I haven't played any non-UK/German routes lately due to the PS5 download limit.
Hard to say, I generally focus on one or two route at the time and play them until I get bored and switch to a new set of routes. The latest "passion" for me are: Harlem TVL (kind of) Routes I know I can just have a lot of fun SEHS DRA BML SKA (BR423) RSN (please we need a new freight german electric loco) ECW I'm also waiting for the Peninsula Corridor update.
Is a go-to something that I like to pick more often than others? I usually like picking routes that I can complete in around an hour or less, so in that case, I'd pick: - Northern Trans-Pennine - Boston Sprinter - Ruhr-Sieg Nord - Sherman Hill (it has some sub-1 hour services) - Southeastern High Speed
Currently , in no particular order : South Eastern Highspeed Riesa Dresden Dresden Chemnitz London Commuter Spirit of Steam
My top 5 in order are: - London Commuter - East Coastway - Southeastern Highspeed - Great Western Express (2015) - Isle of Wight
I would say it would go something like this. 1: Peninsula Corridor 2: Northern Trans-Pennine 3: Tees Valley 4: Clinchfield 5: Great Western Express (2015) Depending on how I feel I might flip NTP & PC around, and I could see Great Western Express fall from the top five if I mess around with Southeastern & East Coastway more. But I'd certainly say the top four are rock solid, those aren't falling from my favorites list anytime soon.
Sand Patch Grade Northern Trans Pennine Boston Sprinter Great Western Express ( both eras ) Spirit Of Steam Riesa Dresden ( honorable mention )
I just made a statistic from TSW, which is certainly very meaningful but does not necessarily show my actual favorites. So my top 5 are: Great Western Express Cologne-Aachen Ruhr Sieg north Munich-Augsburg Hamburg-Lübeck Actually, I like GWE and RSN more. My least 5: West Somerset Railway rapid transit Lucerne Sursee Horseshoe Curve Bakerloo Line But I like WSR and LZN. My favorites are somewhere in between...
My top 5 favourite routes at this moment are: London Commuter (i am totally hooked to this thing - there is SO much to do Nahverkehr Dresden Harlem Line Southeastern High Speed Cathcart Circle Line Honourable mentions: Rapid Transit, LIRR, East Coastway, Spirit of Steam And my least favourite... well, tbh it is more like least played, i dont think they are bad routes, but they never managed to catch my attention after the first couple of runs: Sand Patch Grade (i almost exclusively drive passenger services, so a freight only route is zZzZzZzZ for me) West Somerset Railway Arosalinie Ruhr-Sieg Nord LGV Mediterranee Dishonourable mentions: Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr, Tees Valley Line and Northern Trans-Pennine* *: I very rarely drive on NTP, but i do quite like their locos that i often drive in other routes such as railtours or in GWE Diesel Legends. Edit: I literally forgot i had RSN, so i placed it at the bottom 5 instead of TVL. Makes sense if i didnt remember having it, it shows how little i used it. I do like RSN's locos though, i generally use them on DRA or Tharandter Rampe.
1. Northern transpennine ( class 45 ) 2. Tees Valley Line 3. Spirit of steam 4. West Cornwall Local 5. West Somerset Railway
Me 1.) Harlem Line 2.) Riesa-Dresden tied with Ruhr Sieg Nord 3.) BML 4.) East Coastway 5.) Sand Patch Grade. One reason why I have not played it is that you can get a Stop Signal Overrun (US NTSB Term for UK RAIB SPAD Signal Passed at Danger) at the end
