Just a bit of fun but I fancied a stab at trying to guess the routes included in TS2019.

    Based on it being the first with 64bit, I think there will be content that has been on DTGs wishlist or even in development for a while, that will make full use of the additional RAM capacity available. Here goes;

UK - Portsmouth Direct - As per the release but with an additional unit (SWT's Juniper perhaps) and an additional branch (hopefully Alton or Weymouth).
US - A New York commuter route, I'll guess at the Jersey Shore to Penn Line
Germany - I think another u-bahn line is missing and maybe it's time for the iconic Berlin underground given it's the 30th anniversary of the wall falling. Imagine if there was a pre-1989 version, then a reunified version of the same route.

    Anyone else fancy a guess?

I'm hoping to see longer, more detailed routes, like BNSF's Emporia Subdivision, which runs from Kansas City to Wellington, Kansas, about halfway between Wichita and the Kansas-Oklahoma border, nearly 200 miles long.

I'm hoping they extend ECML South all the way up North

The current ECML is available all the way from Kings Cross to Dundee
Kings Cross to Peterborough - DTG
Peterborough to York - Creative Rail
York to Newcastle - although this is very old - RSC/DTG
Newcastle to Edinburgh - Just Trains
Edinburgh to Dundee - Just Trains

I don't see DTG replicating routes that exist as it takes time and money.

What they COULD do is string them all together in one long route and sell that. People are already doing this in various guises in readiness for the 64bit memory freedom

oh, and JT also do a "Newcastle to York - Modern" as a replacement for the RSC route

I'm sure they can't string DTG, Creative Rail and JT routes together, something to do with grids. Also the Newcastle-York Modern is by DPSimulations and is in the Workshop

The JT one is a direct replacement and is payware, and one I knew about. It's also a complete package with scenarios and reskins included.

The DP Simulation one is East Coast Main Line - North East and is a rework and extension to the line including quite a few branch lines. I hadn't seen it before. I can't see any scenarios for it on the site but I'm sure there are some

Yes but not by very much. London to Scotland is 400+ miles depending on how far yo go.
DTG would have to build everything north of Peterborough from Scratch

Darren Porter who runs DPS did this upgrade and the box says Copyright 2009 - I bought mine in 2012.
So it's quite old compared with Newcastle - Edinburgh
They can't string them together as they were built by three different companies who own their parts of the routes.
