It’s possible JT are simply asking for UE4 experience because I imagine there aren’t many devs who know UE5 very well yet that are « affordable » for a small team.
Ue5 is the coding equivalent of the Uk not having a single petrol car on the road by September 2022. Not happening.
I couldn't understand why people were so excited about UE5 and looked it up. It looks like UE5 promises to let you create massive open worlds natively. But IDK how much it will be beneficial from DTG perspective as it is the Dev time for building the routes that is currently a big roadblock issue when it comes to the length. So unless UE5 can somehow do that for them, I think people are going to be massively disappointed if/when DTG does go there.
