    The Cornish Main Line is a railway line in Cornwall and Devon in the United Kingdom. It runs from Penzance to Plymouth, crossing from Cornwall into Devon over the famous Royal Albert Bridge at Saltash. It directly serves Truro, St Austell, Bodmin, and Liskeard.

    The Cornish Main Line was originally built by two separate railway companies, the West Cornwall Railway between Truro and Penzance, opened in 1852, and the Cornwall Railway between Plymouth and a separate station in Truro, opened in 1859. The West Cornwall Railway was itself based on the Hayle Railway, opened in 1837 as a purely local mineral railway.

    Rail travel from Penzance to London was possible from 1860 when the West Cornwall company was given access to the Cornwall Railway’s Truro station, but the West Cornwall trains were standard gauge and the Cornwall Railway was broad gauge, so through passengers had to change trains there and goods had to be transhipped into wagons of the other gauge at Truro.

    The impecunious West Cornwall company sold its railway to the more powerful broad gauge Associated Companies, dominated by the Great Western Railway, and the new owners converted the West Cornwall line to broad gauge. Through goods trains started running in 1866 and passenger trains in 1867.

    St Austell

    St Austell station is a station which serves the town of St Austell, Cornwall, England. It is 286 miles (460 km) from London Paddington via Bristol Temple Meads. The station is operated by Great Western Railway, as is every other station in Cornwall.

    The station is situated on the hillside just above the town. The main buildings were rebuilt in 2001 and face the town's bus station.

    The station is served by both local and long-distance trains, including the Night Riviera sleeper service.

    The Royal Albert Bridge is a railway bridge which spans the River Tamar in England between Plymouth, Devon and Saltash, Cornwall. Its unique design consists of two 455-foot lenticular iron trusses 100 feet above the water, with conventional plate-girder approach spans. This gives it a total length of 2,187.5 feet.

    Bere Ferrers

    Based on the design of the Hitachi A-train, the train is part of the Hitachi AT300 product family. Each train operating company has given its own units a unique brand; Great Western Railway's units are branded Intercity Express Trains TransPennine Express units are branded Nova 1s and Hull Trains' units are branded Paragons.

    London Paddington To Penzance - "take this GWR IET service as far as St Austell where another driver will take over the rest of the journey to penzance"
    Penzance To London Paddington - "take over this IET service from St Austell to London Paddington as far as Plymouth"


    CLASS 43 HST "CASTLE SET" GWR

    The British Rail Class 43 (HST) is the TOPS classification used for the InterCity 125 High Speed Train power cars, built by British Rail Engineering Limited from 1975 to 1982, and in service in the UK since 1976, GWR have converted these once flagship trains into shorter 4 coach regional services as far as Cardiff from Penzance

    Penzance to Cardiff Central Via Bristol Temple Meads - "carry on and take this GWR Castle set From St Austell to Cardiff Central as far as Plymouth"

    Penzance To Plymouth - "carry on this this castle set from St Austell to Plymouth"




    CLASS 150/2 GWR

    The British Rail Class 150 Sprinter is a class of diesel multiple-unit passenger trains developed and constructed by BREL York between 1984 and 1987 for use on regional services across the UK.

    I really would love to see this. Especially with the Looe.
    Also has potential for the Night Riviera services too with a 57 and Mk3s. Would be great to see it in present day too.
    I’d like to see the Fowey branch too thought for the ability to use Freight with CDA wagons from St Blazey.
    Services that can be added with Class 66s and also PCA wagons from the Class 31 pack. It would also mean that the Cornish Mainline would be on TSW2. Kinda ticks boxes too considering it’d be modern day with WCL being BR.

    St Blazey depot should also be added for services for freight.

    If they had a Class 57 DLC, they could have also timetables the Summer Passenger sets they ran somethings with the Day Coaches from the Night Riviera from Par to Exeter. That would be great fun :)

    I see Class 150/2 being reworked into GWR Paint. Castle Set HST Basically the same HST from great Western mainline but 7 carriages MK3. Achievement wise 2 of the locomotives Class 150 and castle HST end up counting towards original versions if made
