PC Iow Updated Semaphore Signals

Discussion in 'TSW Troubleshooting & Issues Discussion' started by dangerousdave, Jul 21, 2022.

  1. On approach to St John's there's a distant displaying red aspect although the signal ahead is green.

Leaving St John's toward Ryde there's a distant signal showing a red aspect but displaying a green light.

Disant signals cannot show red. They are either 'off' / 45 degrees / clear (green at night) or 'on' / horizontal / at caution (yellow at night).

Does my recent post in another thread (reply #22) help explain what might be going on here?

This article confirms that the distant signals at Ryde St John's are indeed fixed at caution:

But yes, if that's the case then that would be a bug. A horizontal semaphore should show a yellow light, not a green one.
