Well I suspect most of us but not all of us have seen or watched some sort of cab ride video before. I follow this guy on You Tube. Don Coffey. He's just released a video of a working from Theale - Bedford. A nice trip along the GWR upto Acton then take a left and across to the Midland Mainline.

It shows the current state the GWR route is in (not state as in bad but how it looks). How it differs from the TSW GWE 2015 route. It also gives tipsa and great info about the route as the 66 travels up to Bedford. Go take a look when you get time.
Any other cab rides you like. Stick em below.

    Cheers
    Hentis

I like Don Coffey's videos. They're relaxing and informative at the same time!

A recent one I watched on YouTube was this freight service from Dresden to Leipzig, passing through Riesa:

I don't have a favourite channel, but for a single video, I enjoy this ride on Enoshima Electric Railway - the surroundings, the close proximity to residential buildings, the lively streets (with this route being one of a few in Japan allowed to do street running with their trains) make it pretty special. This route has been featured in an anime production, and I've also suggested it for TSW, as linked in my signature below.

If you want to follow the journey on from Bedford, albeit filmed on earlier dates:

Ben Ellias has lots of cab rides on his YouTube channel, far too many to mention individually but to stay relevant to TSW2 I'll link a run from Brighton to Bedford, on board a 700 in 2017.

And here's another one of my favourites, a cab ride from Nottingham to St Pancras courtesy of Train Plane Hub. Definitely give this one a watch if like me you adore the sound of a VP185 engined HST. It gets a little dark towards the end but I think it adds to the atmosphere.

    I can recommend this one:

It’s filmed in a German Br 120 in the 90s. What I find so fascinating about it is the different behaviour in the cab. The driver is very much relaxed and brought his own bangin’ radio for his tunes to work :D That’s something I assume you’d get fired for rather quickly if you tried it today.

There’s an Aussie cab ride where towards the end of the trip the driver plugs his MP3 into the cab speaker system and blasts out AC/DC Thunderstruck at full volume.

Don's videos are brilliant! Another chap I follow is Ben Elias, he was a passenger driver but has moved to freight, this video is a great one....
