Deutsche Bundesbahn BR 363 166-8 shunts Falns hoppers at Werdohl-Elverlingsen Power Station in Werdohl in Germany. On such a wet and cold afternoon, much of the electricty generated from the train's discharged coal will surely go towards heating the homes of chilly North Rhine-Westphalians!

Southeastern Class 375904 pulls up to Rainham in the UK to prematurely terminate its service from London. Due to early morning summer storms, trees have fallen on the line just southeast of the station. Ironically, this has necessitated trains to reverse at Rainham under heavy rain. Luckily, the station has a crossover points at its northwestern end, which the departing Class 395 has just used to return to St Pancras.
