Is it worth the upgrade to the deluxe edition? Or should I consider the standard edition, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
I went with deluxe edition. The only difference I see is, deluxe has spirit of steam. I never bought that for TSW2, so it made sense to get it this way.
If you already have Southeastern Highspeed and/or Spirit of Steam then you will get the TSW3 version for free. It is worth considering that depending on what routes you want to play from TSW3.
Already having SOS I don't need the deluxe edition, but I can only see the deluxe edition available for pre-order on the Aussie Xbox store, the standard edition is saying it's not available for separate purchase but on the TSW 3 website it should be available to pre-order as well. Is this just an Aussie store thing? Are other people able to pre-order the standard edition on Xbox?
Read the FAQ. It does say that the standard edition is available to preorder except on Xbox because of it being part of Game Pass.
Ah, right you are. That's naff then. $15-20 to play it over the weekend before the 6th if you already own SOS then
There's lots of information available in the TSW 3 FAQ: https://dovetailgames.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/80001033452-train-sim-world-3-faq
