With the upcoming Train Sim World 3 I do have a question regarding the DLCs London Commuter and Brighter: Eastbourne and Seaford Routes specifically will they be merged into one route? Considering that the new German Highspeed route coming to the game will be a staggering 186km or 115.5 Miles long.

And side question: If the answer to the above is a yes, will we also eventually get links to London Bridge and London Blackfriars stations and the Class 700 EMU?

We don't have any current plans to merge routes (*it's not on the Roadmap klaxon*), but we have discussed Mergers/Extensions in a previous Roadmap stream (May's, I believe?). Worth a watch - it's at the end of the stream.

It's not about length, it's about the challenges involved by connecting them (timetables, being released at different times with different feature sets, etc.).

I have a very specific follow-up question. I own SEHS but not the 465. If I buy TSW3, and get the new SEHS with the 465 included, will the 465 layer onto LBN, as the current separately-purchased one does?

So we could eventually get routes longer than 186km?

Quick question about PS5 DLC limit. Just pre-orderd TSW3, has the addon fix been included so I can access all my DLC at launch?

So TSW route extension is version2 of a route with more track unlike TSC Sheerness branch is a extension that is bolted on , separate fee.

JD mentioned in another thread that the Add-on Manager for TSW2 is likely to be released before TSW3 is out, so I'd imagine that TSW3 has that feature already built-in.

Edit: He's also said in another thread that it may come out for TSW2 slightly after TSW3, so hopefully the Roadmap streams will clarify that! Still, it would make sense for TSW3 to have the DLC solution built-in.

Thanks for the info, that makes sense. Can't wait to finally have access to all my DLC!

Might have been handy if they had put something about the addon managed in the FAQ so we didn't have to hunt through the forums to find the answer though.

    Pls clarify
If I get the 465 with the TSW3 SEHS, do I then get the 465 in TSW2 BML?

They said on stream that there's a new interface for scenario planner, but no new functionality

The issue of length is simply an issue of money- every additional mile of track means that much more trackside equipment, signals, signage, points, grade crossings, bridges, stations, scenery out x distance to either side, etc etc etc. And DTG can only budget so much money (= dev man-hours) to routebuilding before they lose money at a 25 quid price point.
