Ok now route extensions can happen please please please, the east coastway need to finished of to ore, and this is my local route so I'd love have this and would also include 171
I have wanted this ever since it came out. Brighton to Eastbourne just feels incomplete. I think the Class 171s only go as far as Eastbourne now, but I do remember when they went from Ashford Intl to Brighton with only 2 coaches. That was an awful experience during rush hour.
Better make it as Eastbourne Ore Ashford that way it links with SEHS extended the TSW 3 base route. Basically Ashford International is busy with 465/9 66 171 375 395
I honestly wouldn't want to see this in game... yet. I am fed up with routes in the southeast with the boring flat wasteland which surrounds the tracks you are driving on, I mean come on there is nothing north of London in the modern era.
What’s the north again “laughs as I realise Scotland and It’s capital is closer than London to me, rather significantly”
It would be better extended to Ore and Hastings. Also could you include more detail such as stations and trains?
Honestly didn’t think I’d ever see you Begging for a modern era route but since it’s about up North then I agree
Wow one route which is set in Scotland anyway so there is nothing up north which I generally think of and was refering to as the north of England as England and Scotland are different countries.
If they extend East Coastway to Ashford, I'd also like to see the section from Wivelsfield to Lewes, so you can drive services all the way from London Victoria to Eastbourne and Ore.
That is exactly my point as I would love to see one of these mainlines (much preferably the ECML) recreated rather than another load of rubbish from the southeast.
Cathcart isn't modern The trains you drive in CCL are outdated and were dis-used in 2009. The trains currently operating on CCL Irl are the Class 380 Simmens Desiro's.
I agree although my preference goes to the WCML beyond Liverpool lime street up to Edinburgh Waverley or Glasgow
There's no such thing as a "max route size" technically. Never has been. The route size limitation is on dev time and dev focus, so longer routes usually means more things to develop. The reason that longer routes are being done now is they have some auto build tools, but these generally work for long stretches of track with not much happening (such as high speed lines through the countryside) In game, the route is loaded as "tiles" so only the bit you're in at the moment, the few tiles ahead of you and some to the sides and behind (so you can see a bit further) are loaded. The rest sit on the hard disk til they're needed. This causes some of the "stutters" you see at tile edges, where the game is trying to load in more tiles and offload what it doesn't need anymore
I'm on PC. Storage isn't an issue (3.5Tb over three disks) but I'm sure for some it might be. That's also part of the balance DTG have to strike I guess
