So I was looking to pre-order on Xbox, but it only allowed me to pre-order the deluxe Edition. Does anybody know why.
Hi Coppo Steam pre-orders went live at 6pm BST. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1944790/Train_Sim_World_3/
Just ordered the deluxe edition, on Steam, which has a 10% discount, so it is only $5 US more than the regular edition which does not have the discount.
All right, I am confused. I have TSW2 and a whole bunch of DLC on Steam. Apparently there is no Steam discount for the Standard Edition of TSW3, because that is available on Microsoft Gamepass. But unless I'm mistaken, none of my Steam DLC will work with the Gamepass version. Amiright?
Sorry, hadn't seen this was in the PC forum (have now moved). For Steam - Standard and Deluxe edition are now there, with a 10% discount on Deluxe. Steam Add-ons won't be compatible with Game Pass, correct.
What’s planned to happen with the bonus features (4Days early and decals) available with pre order to those who will be purchasing Standard Addition on Xbox Microsoft store ?
Hi Train Sim 9723, as the Standard Edition is not available for pre-order on Xbox platforms (available on Xbox Game Pass at launch) you will need to pre-order the Deluxe Edition to take advantage of the pre-order benefits. The Deluxe Edition also features a 10% pre-order discount.
That doesn’t answer the question. What has being on Game Pass got to do with not being able to pre-order it?
Pre-order the Deluxe Edition through Brazil (get in touch if you don't know how to do it) and it will cost you the equivalent of about 25€ or 25 dollars. This procedure is recommended for TSW routes DLCs in general.
Not much from where I'm standing. It's just a little slap in the face to anyone who bought SOS on Xbox already, especially those who bought it at launch who're being locked out from playing the game early like everyone else, including people who already bought SOS on other platforms. The only option for Xbox users is to pay 5 quid more for the privilege of playing the game 4 days early I can't see the logic where a game being on game pass from launch precludes people from being able to pre-order it and to enjoy the pre-order bonuses that everyone else will receive. Sure most people will just be wanting to pre-order in order to play the game over the weekend before its official launch and that's not a major thing at the end of the day (side note, if an 'early access' is being offered, why isn't the launch date the 1st/2nd of September for everyone anyway if it's ready to go by then?), but it's little things like this that create a little bit of bad will with some customers
