Yes. It's really immersive as the only instrumentation is in cab, and yet all the visual information you need - even without speaking or understanding Korean is right in front of you.

Had they got in it to the extreme a female entertainer will do the Train Announcement which it has in real life. I do remember you over shooting a station because you couldn't understand the Korean train speech voice. Also in real life a Kpop Idol does that too.

I'm really enjoying it. The braking has turned into a mini-game for me too. It would be amazing if DTG could do similar with London Underground line in TSW3!

I love the new version of the sim. The latest update has made it possible to cold start the train, plenty of switches and buttons in cab are now interactive and can be pressed/toggled with mouse, and you can manually open and close doors instead of automatically (scenario start option). Only passengers are still missing on platforms and the trains.

I played the tablet version but only because it was able to run routes and trains (well sort of) imported from BVE, a feature the PC version does not offer and the developer has ruled out.

Hmmsim is a hardcore realistic train sim. There's no hand holding. There is an in game tutorial page but it's still difficult to remember everything. I don't play it as much compared to tsw3 but I really enjoy it when I get the chance. The updates do take a while sometimes and miss the deadline they put and the devs stay like radio silent. But then again, it's only 3 people with 1 doing most of the work and the updates are well worth the wait so it's all good

Only first couple of versions had the tutorial in Korean (as also some of the UI not translated). For at least some half of year now you can read the in-game manual and tutorial in English, instead of looking at the Steam guides. The translation was also recently updated right away with release of new features (to guide you through the cold start).
