In the setup for a 377 in this pack I came across the L=1 option. The manual does not explain what this does - does anybody know?

L is the Cab Light and I think using L=1 means the unit would start with the cab light on.
Maybe because of the time of day the scenario starts?

I was modifying the sole Class 377 scenario from West Coast Main Line South to use the AP 377 (since the one included doesn't have the AP sounds and therefore is undriveable); I believe the scenario starts at 5pm but I can't say for certain.

Take the L=1 out of the number and see if it makes a difference

Already tried it; I didn't notice anything. It could have been the cab light since I wasn't looking at that but it doesn't appear to be anything that affects the experience. Still quite weird there's no documentation on it.

On pages 29 + 30 of the manual it mentions a number of additional codes that can be used - but the L=1 is not one of them
Power Mode, Cold Start, GSM-R, Numbers and First Class all have additional codes that can be used but are not shown in the demo on page 30. The Cab Light is a two state switch 0=Off & 1=On
