Today I’m suggesting another German route, this time one that’s from Train Simulator Classic: Stralsund - Sassnitz (known as Inselbahn in the game). It runs on the island of Rügen and goes for 42 miles (68 kilometers). It’s a unique route because it goes on an island. It is also pretty unique in terms of rolling stock, this is what I think should be the locomotives included: DB BR 143 DB BR 120 ÖBB 4746 Now in TS Classic the 4746 is a locomotive dlc, but I think for TSW it should be included as it’s unique and offers a drastically different driving experience. It can also come in it’s blue livery but despite being in Germany, the ÖBB livery is more common. The route can also include new freight stock. The 143 would probably do the freight as on the TS Classic route, the 155 does it, but that’s already a locomotive dlc for Ruhr Sieg Nord. The 185 could be a good locomotive for freight in scenarios but I don’t know if they run there irl. But the route definitely has a lot of opportunity for substitution and layers. Overall I think the route is a good scenic and rural line that can be great for TSW3. I especially think the 4746 would be fun to drive. Let me know what you guys think, maybe I’ll make a video discussing the suggestion.
Bring it on and for the OBB Baureihe 4746 it can layer to my suggestion the OBB Westbahn Salzburg Linz Wien in return my OBB Suggestion gives the 4746 VOR Stickers S-Bahn Wien to Inselbahn as it's alt paint scheme. DLC locomotive can be the DB BR 347/346 which is the post-1994 designation for the DR V60 DR BR 106 that way it can be compared to the existing 363 West German DB V60.
I like it, especially with the BR 120. And it would give Skyhook Games the possibility of doing the ÖBB 4746 as loco DLC for the route as they did that for TSC. The TSC version is really enjoyable!
No thanks with the DB BR 143 we have 3 we don't need an fourth We could get an German Version of the DB BR 429 Stadler Flirt
Only reason I suggested the 143 is because it’s common on the line. But the 429 would be nice to see, especially the 429.1
Good point and for ÖBB Baureihe 4746 owners of Inselbahn Saßnitz Stralsund get to use it on Riesa-Dresden ÖBB Schnellfahrstrecke Wien Linz with it being the alt paint version of 4746 S-Bahn Wien VOR decals. If Combined with an ÖBB route 1116 1016 1216 spawns in instead of a 143. Same thing will happen to Riesa-Dresden with an ÖBB route.
I would like to see more ÖBB stock, obviously you can’t have too much on this route but it would definitely be cool to see the 4746 layer onto future routes
I agree and Furthermore there is a yard in Saßnitz Mukran that is suited for DB BR204 DRV100 to do shunting UK Terminology for us canada Switching Jobs
