I have been doing the Run for Your Wath activity. I get as far as just west of Penistone, and get stuck in a train jam at a signal BC... Going on to map view, I see a train (5.55 Wath to Mottram Coal) moving out of a loop, and coming back in repeatedly. The games doesn't clear. I have tried to see if I can stop it manually, but no no effect. Any ideas? James
i have just tried it, same problem. Tomorrow i will delete the offending consist and see if that lets me complete the scenario.
Yes James, that is the answer. Delete the 5.55 Wath to Mottram Coal consist and the scenario will complete, (a little tip, watch your braking.) Mike
I used, Railworks Tools, A brilliant free application, If you have that application I can walk you through it James, but i do not know how to do it in the Railworks editor. maybe someone else can help?. I will start a new thread.
Many thanks for your offer. I have just downloaded Railworks Tools, so I would be grateful for all help. I certainly found it impossible with the TS 2018, which I have no idea how to use. It is not as intuitive as Open Rails!
I used this guide to get the basics of scenario editing in TS1. And Matt from DTG has several vids on youtube giving a bit more detail too https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=561594427
Start TS2018 and then go in to BUILD. Click on the Scenarios TAB then find the Woodhead Route. Find the scenario you are having a problem with and click on EDIT Use the 2D map to find the train you are having a problem with. Click on the loco and it should Highlight Use the Delete button to remove it and then do the same for the wagons. Push the Play button - bottom right and it will ask if you wish to Save Changes - say Yes. Peter
Or, in the bottom left option box select "Select consist", then the whole train can be selected and deleted in one shot
Hello All I managed to delete the offending consist in Run for your Wath. It was difficult, but I got there in the end with a lot of pushing and shoving. The Scenario now works perfectly, although my enginemanship left something to be desired. The class 76 is not an easy engine to drive. Thank you all for your help. James
I could not get the hang of the 76 either, could not get it up to speed until realised there is a throttle booster lever underneath the first throttle lever in the cab that you can apply at above 30mph.
I've got 1,000 points for this and don't recall having to do anything to change the scenario- in fact I wouldn't know how to. I'd note that I got the Woodhead Line the thick end of a year ago so it's possible the scenario was changed in an update since.
